What are the main advantages of electromagnetically driven metering pumps?
Electromagnetically driven metering pumps have only one moving part - armature shaft. Generally speaking, the less the moving parts of the metering pump work more reliable. The metering pump is well suited for low flow, low pressure working conditions and has a good compensatory effect when the supply voltage fluctuates.
What are the advantages of measuring the length of the stroke and the frequency of the metering pump compared to the fixed frequency, the metering pump that changes the stroke length?
By correction, the amount of dots per stroke is known. So the total dosing can be calculated (dosing = per stroke dosing * frequency). The total dosing is linearly proportional to the frequency (50% frequency = 50% dosing). With external pulse or analog control, the dosing can be reduced from minimum to maximum within one second. In addition it is much lower than the motor-driven stroke length adjustment cost.
How to use the metering pump performance curve?
1. Find the corresponding performance curve with the selected metering pump.
